Berry-Nuttie Smoothie

High in vitamin C, blueberries and strawberries are one of the healthiest fruits around due to their high antioxidant content.

Antioxidants boost energy and fight fatigue. The addition of protein powder combined with the rich creamy flavors of almond or peanut butter and yogurt makes this smoothie a balancing meal or snack and an all star favorite. Simple and easy to make.

1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
¼ cup frozen strawberries
4-6 tablespoons plain yogurt
2 tablespoons flax oil
2-4 tablespoons crunchy peanut butter, or almond butter
2-4 scoops protein powder
1 ¾ cups purified water
1 cup ice (optional)

Place ingredients in a blender. Blend until rich and creamy, approximately 2 -3 minutes.
